Lights of the Ozarks

I know it has been awhile since I have blogged but it has been a crazy couple weeks. As we are approaching the holiday season we kicked it off with Fayetteville's annual Lights of the Ozarks! It was just the kids and myself. We will have to bring Daddy back so we can visit Santa. But we did enjoy the parade with some friends in the freezing cold.  The kids also banked on lots of candy and party necklaces. Overall a good night! 

Of course Sanra made a special trip down to Arkansas!

Exploring the "Natural State"

Instead of spending our afternoon/evening at the Razorback game  we traveled to Devil's Den State Park this afternoon and enjoyed some of the fall sites. The lake wasn't full at all but that has to do with them fixing the dam. We all had a good time hiking up trails and checking out nature.

Tiny's 5th birthday

Today we celebrate this beautiful, whole hearted little girls special birthday! I can't believe how quickly these 5 years have gone by! I feel like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital or I still just think of her as my little baby. Not my big girl. She is so grown up! Still my baby but my big girl baby! 

She enjoyed her day. Breakfast at chic-FIL-a, an afternoon with Daddy, then play time with our neighbors which I may add are super nice and we have only been talking to them for two weeks. They bought her a little gift which was so unexpected and nice. They came over to help her blow out her candles and she shared her cake. Overall just a relaxing way to celebrate her special day. Also she had no problem telling everyone that today was her birthday. So diva! 

Today we had Talan's parent teacher conference and we are happy to report that he is doing A-MAZING!!! His teacher just praised on how good he is doing and how he is such a good leader in class. He also received an award "Being the end in mind". So proud that he just stepped right in without a beat

McGarrah Farms Fun

Today we enjoyed half a day with Talan's class at McGarrahs Farm. It was very chilly this morning but once the sun came out an hour later it was very enjoyable. We enjoyed getting lost in the corn maze, bean bag toss, tug of war, to hay rides through the creepy forest. So much fun.
